04/29/2006 | We could give everyone on this planet a 1 acre piece of land in the USA and that would fit everyone and thier families up to a five person family and people complain of overpopulation. Here's another lie being told to us to make us all panick for the mistakes that governments throughout the world make with poor planning of land and resources.

05/07/2005 | In some countries, this can be a big problem. It causes food shortages. But at the same time, it can be resolved easily - the governments should make living cheaper, build more houses and encourage people not to have many children.

04/30/2005 | If any other life-form was infesting and destroying the planet like we are,we'd wipe them out.Quick.It takes several ACRES of land to support ONE human being properly.To make matters worse,those who have more generally waste the excess-while other people starve and die from easily treated diseases.If this planet were a dog,we'd be one chronic case of fleas....

04/29/2005 | I think that this is more of a problem in a few countries than the majority. Families in the USA at least are getting smaller for various reasons. Many families decide to have no children at all. If all couples were to decide to have one child and that is all, they will have essentially cut the population by 50% over the long run. If they have no children they have cut the population by 100%. Sure not all couples will do the same when it comes to decisions concerning the size of their family, but for every couple who decides not to have children another couple will have to have four children to keep the population the same. Granted right now the populations in some areas are skyrocketing but a lot of this is due to people moving around. We will see a steady increase for a while then if there is no change the numbers will fall. The global population could stand to decrease some but at least this is something to think about.
