I spent two weeks in Peru, almost every day was spent in a different hotel as we travelled all over the country seeing what it has to offer. There is a lot to see, it has a lot of stunning views, a lot of historical places, and great culture. The local cuisine is also highly recommended, and if you eat meat you have to try their Alpaca dish. One word of warning though... they see no meal as complete without fries and rice, so expect a lot of it!I recommend seeing the Nasca Lines, Lake Titicaca, and of course the stunning Machu Pichu.

A friend I work with, him and his wife are from Peru. Very nice people, but they often go on how beautiful it is, how much better the food is, how much better things are done there. That's great, but why is it when people emigrate to the USA they go on and on about their home country, bash the USA, but for some reason, stay in the USA and never have any intention of leaving. Amazing !!!!

Nice and friendly folks. The landscapes are amazing and I have developed a steady adiction for Inca Kola, so for me it`s a FIVE STARS. I was there recently and I am planning on returning next year.

I went there for a study abroad trip this summer and it far exceeded my expectations. I figured it would be really poor, and like a typical poor country. But it's not bad, it's more like a middle class country. I spent most of the time in Cuzco which is a very beautiful town set in the middle of the Andes. They have a rich and extensive native history and the some of the Spanish sites in Lima, such as the national church, are very beautiful. I'd definitely recommend it.

We love this place so much we have been there four times in the past three years. Best taken in small chunks if you can do so. Machu Picchu is a must, but the Inca trail is for the very fit only. Cuzco is loaded with history. The people are fantastic. Many backpackers, good internet cafes. Lots of tours available at different prices for different age groups, interests
