The Vatican would rank alot higher with me if the Church would open the archives. There were thousands of artifacts and documents brought back to the Vatican from the "pagan" cultures they conquered over the centuries. These items were saved by church leaders at the time, and would be of immense value to archaeologists today. If the Catholic church is really having money problems, the obvious solution would be to auction these items or open them to the general public.

The Vatican is the vibrant beating heart of the true Europe, which is Christendom. The only truly international and Catholic city in the world with such wonderful art proclaiming the glory of God and his creation that you could never exhaust it's treasures.

One of the absolute COOLEST places on earth! So much history, architecture and paintings. This place will peg your "Culture-o-meter!"

Most priests are gays. And most of them live in Vatican City. The Sodum and Gumora in the bible.

It's a great city to visit, great wine, great food and they love Americans

The Vatican City has a lot of neat stuff...but honestly, that's the problem! There is simply TOO MUCH STUFF & they just herd you through it like cattle. At points, you can't even speak & forget about photos.
