10/07/2005 | Ok, they are there. They are everywhere. So what. The selection is ok, but I really hate the salespeople. The high pressure sucks totally. In every store it's the same. I wish I didn't have to deal with such low-lifes when it comes to doing business with Guitar Center. I've been dealing with them for over 30 years and that is the one thing that hasn't changed. Ok, so the selection is good, locations are good, prices are so-so, but the salespeople suck big-time.
I only go there if I have no other choice.

09/18/2004 | Best (and biggest) guitar store in San Francisco. Helpful, kwowledgable staff - huge selection of accoustic and electric guitars, and good prices. After listening to about 20 minutes of advice from a sales guy, I picked up a nice Fender accoustic guitar for $300. They're nice to newbies as well...
