I can no longer watch Beck and Hannity who infer that I am anti-american for having ideals that we can change this country in an honest way.
I voted for Obama after voting for Bush in 2000 & 2004. Yes, there was a lot of Bush bashing when he was in office, but I never thought he was an evil man out to distroy this country.
I have a deep distrust for people who use anger and hate as their message. We have issues in this country that must be addressed as a nation united in a common cause without politics.
I am ashamed at what we are doing to ourselves in the media, as I still have pride in our country and it's ideals.

Just watched her show tonight (8/20/09) and omg did Rachel take a flippin stupid pill? I like her show but tonight she took logic and destroyed it like Fat Man did Nagasaki. There was no shred of logic anywhere. A couple of Senators said that there should be 75 or 80 votes on the health care bill and she spent 10 monutes trying to bash republicans that they are changing the rules??????? They want a bill that 80 Senators can vote on then you get a bi-partisan bill passed. They can't change the rules. They could say all day long that you need 100 votes, but that doesn't change anything. Filibuster is a known and oft used rule. So what if the other party has used it more this year. We have 60 votes, pop their balloon.

Come on Rachel you can do better than that. On a day that we Democrats are getting hammered thanks to bone heads like Barney "I hate dining room tables" Frank and John "spread the DNA" Edwards tops the news, do you have to go into an illogical arguement like that? It made my head hurt listening to that, I had to turn off the TV. Who wrote that drivel Rachel? Please tell me you were running late and got the script as the show started. It wasn't your idea, you were tossed that junk and no way out.

The Rachel Maddow Show is so far left it falls off the radar. She is consistently smarmy and sarcastic about all Republican issues. Her political views are unabashedly leftist, and her delivery of her views is juvenile. There is absolutely no balance. To watch her show is torture, but it does give one the opportunity to reaffirm one's own beliefs.

She started out balanced, but she has become too Ober-esque. Very condescending.

I agree with most of her views but I find her style VERY annoying. Its like she laughs at people and this reminds me of a kid in a school yard that likes making fun of his/her classmates. I think she comes across offensive. She is an intelligent anchor with a lot to offer but turns off too many people.

Maddow is witty and smart. The so called right wing has much to fear from her as they distort and slander but engage in meaningless babble and accusations. Ultimately, smart is the right way to go. The foolishness of the O'Reilly's and the Rush's provides only fodder for the foolish. Its time we had someone with a gift of intelligence and even compassion.
