Tom Selleck was the first choice to portray Indiana Jones but he turned down the role. Now he regrets that decision. I'm glad that Selleck turned down the role. Those Indiana Jones movies wouldn't be the same without Harrison Ford.

Indiana jones made every kid want to be adventureous and made being an archealogist seem cool! Plus harrison ford wasn't that bad to look at or Sean Connery for that matter!

I try to model some of my foolery after Indy's example. (where's my hat?)
UPDATE: The score by John Williams is pure money...

I agree with Louie that Temple of Doom was merely ok, but a great series all the same with the latest installment coming out over 20 years later....Indiana Jones 4 won't even be a cheap remake...until Harrison Ford is too old (don't know when that will be...hes getting up there now for action films) he will always be Indiana Jones. Can't wait to see the new one...need it to die down a bit at the theater first. I guess one of the few things from the 80's with staying power.

Love of all the films, even part four,
louiethe20th 09/06/2007
With the possible exception of The Temple of Doom, these were wonderful films and I can't wait for part 4.

All three movies in the Indiana Jones trilogy were good, which isn't that common in movie franchises. I just hope that the new Indiana Jones movie doesn't screw that up. Yes, they are making a 4th one. I guess Harrison Ford couldn't let Stallone outdo him with another Rocky movie.

What red-blooded female didn't fantasize about the red-blooded, virile, but very smart Indiana Jones?
CherrySoda99 08/17/2005
Another good trilogy of Harrison Ford's. I don't think I would have watched them when I was younger, but now, I'm all for them!
Randyman 06/18/2005
One of the best movies, including the sequels, of the eighties, and after Star Wars did more for Fords career than anything else. It played like a movie serial.
TJGypsy2 06/03/2005
An excellent movie franchise, and one I wish they hadn't stopped making movies for. I enjoyed all three of these movies, and thought Harrison Ford played the part perfectly. Of course, I may be biased because I like Harrison Ford in anything he does.
