Honoring her career with Fleetwood Mac is enough!
ginbean 03/11/2008
steve is one of the most influential woman in rock and roll it's almost been thirty years as a solo artist in the main stream..I would love to see her inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame

I recently discovered that she performed background vocals singing "turning music into gold" by John Stewart. I guess Lindsey Buckingham played guitar on that song too. For many years i always thought the sound of that song was Fleetwood Macish!

She is incredible
sexybeast68 12/05/2007
The Queen of Rock and Roll, who has influenced generations of songwriters. She has the whole package, Legend, Style Icon, with that wicked unmistakable voice and those great songs!! She definetley deserves a solo distinction into the RRHOF! She is one of the most successful women to break away from a HUGE band and have a huge solo career.

The success of Bella Donna proved that Stevie's talent was equally as strong outside of Fleetwood Mac as in. Stevie was able to prove her talents did not exist in the confides of the super group only. Proving what Stevie fans already knew, the songbird could sing and write. Stevie opened the minds of so many other woman, showing them that rock chicks can stand on their own. This folksy rock goddess proved you can be a lady and stand up for what you believe in. She opened the doors for the for many other rock girls broadening the spectrum of music. Stevie Nicks may not be the most important icon in rock history, but as a solo artist she left her heal print. Bella Donna and Wild Heart bridged the gap between the 70's guitar based easy listening and the 80's synthesizers laden feel good music. Besides she is just cool.

We all know as fans how much Stevie has help us threw times bad & good. She has influence many others. The "buss." doesn't know or appreciate what she has done as a writer & an artist. I hate to say this Janis Joplin had to die for all of us to realized what a gift she was. I think it may be the same for Stevie. I love her for being herself & not giving in to the "buss.". Only time will tell (oh no a Madonna ref.).

If Stevie Nicks does not have a place in the Hall of Fame then I don't see the point of there even being one. Honestly!!!1

Stevie Nicks should be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of fame for her solo work. She has sold more albums as a solo artist while remaining in a hugely popular band than Phil Collins or Don Henley.

She is the Queen of Rock. How can the queen not be inducted.
sara31tx 07/24/2007
What can I say, she is the Queen of Rock also known as the first lady of Rock. She should be inducted already. She has had more hits than Blondi that's for sure. This lady continues to sell out concerts. We have to also remember that it is not about who you like and do not like, it is about a artist that has changed music and has been a strong influence on future generations. Stevie has done this. She has sold more albums and has more fans than most artist can dream of. She also writes her own music, which is very impressive if you ask me. There are people inducted who have had less than 10 top hits Stevie has had more hits than you can count. My vote is for Stevie Nicks.

One of the most long-lasting, influential, powerful, prolific, and talented women in rock!! Get her in now
power54 01/19/2007
I had a crush on her when I was in my 20's. I thought she was the best looking blond I ever saw. When she went into Betty Ford to clean up her act I sent her a get well card and even asked for an autographed pic. And you know what, SHE SENT IT!!! So I'd vote for her if it was up to me. But not just because I got the autograph. "Rock A Little", is one of my favorite albums.
kolby1973 01/17/2007
The fact that she wrote the best song that Fleetwood Mac ever performed is plenty enough to get her in, but then of course going onto her solo career; she was just totally superb. She should already be in. Excellent.

hell yes

Stevie's best work was with Fleetwood Mac. Her solo work was average at best and showed no great depth
thylacine 10/01/2005
Of course she should be in...if michael gets in solo, and so do all the Bealtles as solo acts, then so should Stevie! Although, that being said, i think it's SOOOOOOOOOOO wrong that Tina Turner is not in as a solo, yet has to be inducted along side that asshole Ike.
FuzzyJ 09/23/2005
No doubt whatsoever!!!!
avajennings 08/24/2005
Fleetwood Mac is already in -- they list all the inductees at rockhall.com I don't think Stevie Nicks has done enough in her solo career to warrant being inducted solo. I think an unwritten criteria should be -- can you think of 10 great songs by the artist off the top of your head? If you can, then they should be considered. In the case of Stevie, I only get to about 7 and that's including the duets with Tom Petty (Dragging my Heart Around) and Don Henley (Leather and Lace).

Great with the band, egomaniacal as a soloist. The band overshadowed her weaknesses, and going solo only accentuated them... Besides, how many people do you know stood in front of a fan and sang Edge of Seventeen into it while it was blowing on high speed?
souljunkie 08/19/2005
Fleetwood mac, yes. Monotone and eccentric pretty average Stevie, no.
Budc9512om 08/04/2005
I like Stevie Nicks a lot, but it is hard for me to put her in the hall based on her mixed bag solo career. I think she should go on with Fleetwood Mac.
welshwitch1981 07/22/2005
Absolutely wonderful- her solo material is as meaningful and far reaching as anything done with FM. She deserves to be far more recognised than she is.
kingguiness 07/13/2005
She did some good solo work but nothing to warrant a spot in the Hall Of Fame.

All I can say is MAGICAL. Nissan Pavilion 7/10 Review. I took my 15 year old son with me to the concert and it was truly a magical evening. I could not remain in my seat period. The connection Stevie made with the audience (and definitely myself) was energizing. She shared about visiting Walter Reed Hospital on Friday and filled the need of those she visited as a sister, daughter, wife, mother, friend. She is such an inspiration to me and it was truly awesome to experience connecting with her live. My son was totally blown away when Stevie kicked out a Led Zepplin tune. We missed her Beautiful Child song, my son's favorite. Several times during the performance I leaned over to my son and said now this is rock and roll buddy. He agreed. For you Stevie. I want to thank you for a wonderful evening. I was sitting by your light crew and could not stay in my seat. It was totally awesome to connect with your energy. You are a wonderful person and I feel like you are one of my very dear old friends. Your music has gotten me through a lot of stuff in my life to. I brought my 15 year old son with me who was totally blow away when you played one of his favorite Zepplin tunes. He has my love of music. My son really wanted to hear Beautiful Child but we cranked it when we got to the car to go home. Thanks for sharing your visit to the Walter Reed Hospital on Friday. Like you said, if anyone could even go visit with some homemade cookies, spread the love around. Hopefully our society will catch on with all of the lightworkers spreading the healing energy. Peace Love & Blessings, Donna (Virginia)

Hello? She's STEVIE NICKS!!! What more need be said???
tlssln 06/16/2005
Absolutely. Stevie is a legend who is still touring and making great music. She's one of the premier songwriters of all time. She's an inspiration to alot of today's artists and should be a shoe-in for the Hall of Fame in her first year or eligibility. Please, there should be no debate whatsoever.
stevienicks 06/15/2005
Of course she is the greatest!
mistralwind87 05/26/2005
i looooooove stevie nicks! she has an AMAZING voice and has been through so much but it's only made her stronger and i think that's awesome! ~dannie~

It would be the worst crime in history if Stevie was not put into the hall of fame...she IS a legend!
HRH 05/13/2005
Stevie should absolutely be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Her contribution to music has been tremendous and has been cited by many female rockers as an inspiration. Stevie desetves to be celebrated in this fitting manner.
chris culotta 05/12/2005
are you kidding, it would be pathetic for the music industry not to induct her
steviesgypsy 05/12/2005
Stevie is the only one who should be considered !!!
