As thoughtful an observer of and commentor on modern culture as there is to be had on the radio. I'm amazed his show ranks as highly as it does, since thinking has been replaced by feeling and thoughtful commentary has been overtaken by wise-cracking and smart-alecky 'look at how clever I am' sophistry. And this guy has a resume, for those that are impressed with academic credentials. (Ooops! Pardon. I meant a CV). He used to air in the Boston area, but was replaced by spanish language programming (oh, how I love diversity and cosmopolitan taste!). I don't agree with everything he says, but hey, I don't agree with everything that's come out of me over the years, after some (honest) reflection. I think that there are a few folks here who would enjoy listening to his show, if they haven't already. I have to go now.......I hear that mangy friggin cat approaching.

He is sometimes entertaining and certainly better than having nothing to listen to.

All this election/economy coverage is making for dull programs, otherwise, he cuts straight to the chase.

You may not agree with what he has to say, you may find morality parochial, but he offers up a program in which he does not fear those who disagree with him. He allows those he interviews up to an hour to discuss their theories and views. You may not like his take on life, but he is well informed, and keeps his listeners well informed as well. Sometimes it is important for those married to their agendas to allow a touch of free speech and ideas into one's head.

A whiner...but worst of all...boring!

A very self important man who thinks....like most conservative, religious wackos....that there is one and only one way to live this life. The last time I listened...which will be the last...he tried to insinuate that a person cant know right from wrong witout some kind of "religious" doctrine guiding them through each move they make. WOW....my question is...what about the raping preists or the religious "terrorists". They are following their "doctrines" right Dennis? Stupid way to think isnt it?? Pretty much a mouthpiece for our incompetent president....thinks "W" is a great man. NUFF SAID!!!

I listen to Dennis every chance I get; he does a great job of bringing in great topics and is very respectful to all callers and guests. I hear so many of the other hosts just bashing on their points and ignoring good debate from opposing views. It's great to hear a radio show that has some class and intelligence for a change.

This crook alias talk show host is a big supporter of wars, even though he got himself exemplted from the Vietnam draft. And listen to him just once. He sprinkles his talks liberally with the word "moral". In one half hour I counted 17 times! As if he the sole arbiter of virtue in this world!

One of the few hosts who actually listens to the caller's comments. Seeks clarity over agreement!!

Obviously on the right-wing talking points email list. A Limbaugh clone (if a more sincere one).

Thoughtful, intelligent, and willing to engage in honest debate to illuminate the issues.

Insightful, informative and highly intelligent. Dennis articulates some of the most serious issues facing our society with grace and poise. He does not shy away from callers who may disagree with his point of view and always responds with well thought-out and thought provoking answers. Easily the most intellectual talk show to date.

Easily-my personal favorite. The first time I heard his show,I was vacationing in California-and someone made some comment along the lines of God is now...?Prager took the comment seriously and had the guy on the ropes with his first punch.I used to subscribe to him when he had a newsletter and he's written or coauthored some of the deepest-but basic and clearheaded stuff I've read on anything. My two favorites are,'The Nine Questions People Ask About Judaism' and 'Why The Jews',both of which are coauthored with Rabbi Joseph Telushkin. If you get a chance to catch one of his lectures, don't miss it.Also,I think his biggest asset is taking God and religion seriously. And he's at least 15 parts into a series on Judaic-Christian values on his website(dennisprager.com).

A reasonably well balanced host who is articulate. The only drawback is his excessive schilling of his sponsors. This is actually an industry wide problem but he is one of the biggest offenders.
billiefan2000 06/07/2005
one of the best radio shows around.

Entertaining, super intelligent and a gentleman. His show is far more unique than any other on the radio today.
