03/01/2007 | LED ZEPPLIN IS NOT METAL!!!!!!!!! they are more like blues rock with the amps turned up. THEY ARE A GREAT BAND TO BE SURE, but THEY ARE NOT METAL. hell on there first album they had bluegrass songs HOW METAL IS THAT?

11/08/2005 | Like 'em or lump 'em they are the original (and in my mind, still the only) heavy metal super group. Every band that followed them merely expanded upon their tremendous contribution to suit the times and, of course, their own wallets (i.e. Kiss, Metallica and Iron Maiden to name a few).

10/03/2005 | I agree. Led Zep was far more talented than Metallica or ACDC. If it wasn't for Zep those two wouldn't be anything. In the past 10 or 15 years, Zep has finally gotten the due respect by critics that they deserved.
