Sammy Hagar is one of the best musician song writers I have ever seen. His music is good clean high energy rock and roll. He is down to earth and loves to make his fans happy and loves to mingle and party with them. Not too many musicians do that, nor do they remember that their fans are the ones that put them were they are today. But Sammy does. Most of them are too full of themselfs. Sammy has had some great soundtrack songs for some great movies like "Heavy Metal", "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" "Footloose" "Over The Top" just to name a few. Everyone of these movies were box office hits. He is a great soul and a great performer. I have followed Sammy since he was with Montrose and all his concerts Rock! Im surprised that he hasn't already been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist. He should be!

His work with Van Halen or Montrose has nothing to do with a solo career. His biggest solo hit was "Your Love Is Driving Me Crazy", which couldn't reach the top 20. Add that to his non-existent critical respect, and he rightly has no shot.

Redheads love their Sammy. I have never met him but I feel like he is a friend. Whether his popularity reaches out the the RedWorld enough to be in the HOF, I don't know. He deserves to be in the Hall because of his long carear and his devotion to his fans. As I always say EVERYBODY LOVES SAMMY

Sammy Hagar should be a first ballet slam dunk.He has had major success in music for years now.He has had great hits with Montrose,Van Halen,and as a solo artist.I can't think of anyone else who is coming up who should be nominated ahead of him.

Montrose, Solo and Van Halen . What other artist in rock & roll has his resume, sold the numbers of records, played in front of the crowds and still playing today that is not is the Hall of Fame? No brainer!
