I always thought they were a far superior band than Deep Purple. Joe Lynn Turner is one of the best singers in Rock.

Started off fairly promising, but then turned into an early, connect the dots AOR power ballad aggregation. The first three studio albums had their moments, subsequent discs had few stellar tracks. Talented, but overall, an uninspiring outfit.

I remember Stone Cold and Street OF Dreams. Good songs but not great enough for the HOF.
