Vastly conflicting reports and ideas have been spread and heard about this pictured little town. it's not literally a town of couse but it sure has the small-town warm and open feel, in my expereince anyway. This is Natures Gem for those who hate publicity. So, I guess my report might be a dis-service but come and see it. Even if it's only for a week; you'll want to come back for longer, I could almost promise you that.

After living in many of the resort towns of Colorado and in Denver CO Springs feels like a different country. Lots of religious zealots parading about and the air force base equal a very conservative atmosphere. There are certainly some great people around and some sights to see but overall I think its one of the least interesting places you could visit/live in Colorado.

A beautiful area except for the strip malls. Tons of evangelical christain influences. The airforce base adds a bit of seediness. A nice place to visit but, I would hate to live there. Check out the Garden Of The Gods or watch an indie film at Kimball's Twin Peak. Also Colorado College is located there.

I really like the fact that it is a clean city. I have fond memories of this place, as I went there every summer as a kid. Really good places to visit include Pike's Peak, The Cave of the Winds, Seven Falls and the zoo, among others. But overall, it is a prototypic city with nice people and a beautiful landscape.

Good place to visit. Cookie cutter neighborhoods, though. Mountains near and some interesting things to see. Nothing special about restaurants or shopping.

Beautiful city and extremely clean. There are a lot of Christian institutions which is a good thing and there are also sights to see such as the fortress, Air Force Academy and Garden of the Gods. The residential areas are nice and the tap water is spectacular.

My hometown. Beautiful, clean and conservative. With liberal Denver/Boulder to the north, it keeps Colorado firmly anchored to earth so as not to fly off into space

This is scenic open country. It is clean and feels healthy but this is till B.F.N. back-country.

A pretty city, with a beautiful mountain backdrop, though not quite as filled with cultural opportunities as nearby Denver.
