Downtown 'subway system' has four stops. Length is less than a mile. You can walk end-to-end faster than waiting for a train and riding it. Downtown is so small, it doesn't need a subway. Trains don't go to the football and baseball stadiums, which are right across a river from downtown. They don't go to the airport nor the big Robinson shopping malls.

Clearly needs to be expanded. One line doesn't cut it for a city this large. A line going east towards Oakland for starters would be a big improvement for Pittsburgh's transit system.

Very recent transit system that someone would say that it's one of a kind. The stations are clean, there is some vending, and you are free to go off downtown at no charge. These people did a nice job.
