Would rank higher if he hadn't peaked early. Wrote a lot of classics with the Buffalo Springfield (one of the greatest assemblages of talent ever) and C,S,N,and Y, but his solo career has been shaky at best, and C,S,N, and Y haven't been the same since 1970. His best songs, like "Bluebird," "Hung Up Down" "Everydays," "Carry On," "4 and 20," "Suite:Judy Blue Eyes," "For What It's Worth," and others came so long ago that his reputation has been tarnished since, many forget that it was he and not Young who was initially thought of as being the most talented. Good singer, and an excellent guitarist.
