Paul Weller is the most talented musician to emerge from the post punk era. His music although branded a mod is truly diverse ranging from guitar oreintated rock tunes, soul, jazz/funk, ballads, even tried his hand at house music with The Style Council. His solo work is impeccable and has influenced many of today's bands from Oasis, Blur and Ocean Colour Scene.
