The have written some of the greatest Pop/Rock songs of all-time. You can't listen to a Classic Rock or Rock station without hearing some Van Halen tunes. It is completely assinine to say otherwise.

They have stunk almost consistantly ever since their 4th album,and the 3rd one wasn't so great either.
