No he didn't, but he played some damn fine blues, and this is part of it.

Semantics be damned. Fred rocked (and rolled) !

It's just 'the straight natural blues', but this 1969 album belongs in every rock'n'roll fan's collection right next to THE STOOGES.

BTW, Fred's shows with Bonnie Raitt were beyond brilliant.
