Frigidaire Affinity Series Washer and Dryer (Front Loaders)At first, I was reluctant to switch to these Laundromat style machines. Had some misconceptions, like that I wouldn't be able to add any extra laundry after the wash cycle starts. Found out that this is not true, you can add more laundry because the water level is never higher then the bottom of the door. Also, found out that this washer uses 15 gallons of water vs. the 45 gallons top-loaders use. Many PROS, few CONS. I recommend paying the extra fee for set-up, the washer alone has to way over 250 lbs. My husband needed help lifting, even with two grown men lifting, the washer was a beast to set-up.

I bought a Frigidaire Front Load washer this summer...LOVE IT! You cannot hear it running when it washes...it uses about 1/3 the water and same on detergent....our water bill has dropped $10 the first month and again each month...they are the best. DO NOT buy GE Profile...we had a $600 3 year old one that the transmission quit twice in 3 years...never will we purchase one of those again.
