Absolutely the best that I have ever owned. I have had other "high" end sungasses, Oakley, Ray Ban highstreet, Bolle, Costa Del Mar and have been more pleased with the Maui Jims than any of them. I have the Titanium Sports and they are extremely light weight but highly effective. No hint of glare. No eye strain or squinting.

I bought a pair of Maui Jim South Shore in bronze today and, despite the sticker shock, am impressed with them. The optical clarity is relaxing, and the color enhancement is refreshing. I like the sturdy yet light frames, and the resin temples add just the right amount of style. There isn't a hint of glare. I've owned Serengeti and Ray Ban and liked them, but these South Shores set a new standard on all counts for me.

It used to be that when you wore sunglasses, the brightness of the world got dimmer. Not anymore. My Maui's actually make the world brighter by allowing beneficial light in and blocking the harmful wavelenghths. Colors are actually enhanced and the world is virtually glare-free. I've tried Revo's and Maui's together and I cannot tell the difference. Both seem to do a similar job. Eye-strain and squinting are things of the past. As far as price, you're looking at high $100's to mid $200's, but I'm telling you right now, you will not regret spending it. Don't believe me? Go to your local sunglass hut, or whatever and try a pair of Maui's on. Your credit card will practically fly out of your wallet. Trust me.

Simply the best sunglasses I've ever had. I spend a lot of time offshore fishing and the glare can really be a problem. The Maui's stop the glare from reaching my eyes completely. Eye fatigue is reduced considerably.

Definately one of the best. My opinion, Revo's and Maui's are tied. Either way your covered, That's why I purchased both of them.

I have owned a ton of sunglasses over the years from cheap to expensive. While the styling of the glasses and comfort was clearly better as you moved up in price range, the optics were not always significantly improved. It seemed all too often I was paying for the name and the look and the optics came in a distant second. Not so with Maui Jim sunglasses. The first day I owned these I was looking out over the water and didn't even realize how bright it was or how much glare was reflecting off the water until someone with me complained about it. I slipped my Maui Jims off and was almost blinded. It was amazing and while I agree that the price is definitely on the high side, the optics and styling are the best. You can find cheaper sunglasses, but not better.
