05/19/2005 | I am sensing some major backstroking here. Yes, we have pride in our country, we sing songs, salute our flag and celebrate holidays in honor of those who lived and died before us to ensure those rights. We have an abundance of many resources, which we have shared willing with others, some of those precious resources gave their lives for our freedoms as well as for those who also spit on us. We are not a perfect nations, but for a young nations, we have overcome several dark and barbarous times in our history. We are just people, like the majority of people all over the world, we get up in the morning, go to work, come home, raise our families, take care of our sick, laugh with our friends, pray for those around us, and at the end of the day, hope that we have done our best.
