I liked this movie myself. a police detective on a murder case has to take in a witness, the victims dog Hooch, a junkyard massive dog who is not very well trained and has a mind of his own. Turner who is a very set in his ways guy has a hard time adjusting to this dog. they have a lot of funny scenes together and end up bonding a friendship. the end is sad. for those who like dogs and tom hanks this is a likable movie.

Very Funny.The kind of Movies Tom used to make (like...Dragnet,The Burbs)that He would never make today. It's too bad ..He used to be a really funny performer.It's OK to want to branch out (Like Jim Carrey did in The Majestic)but it's Tom's older funnier Movies I enjoyed.
