A sweet movie with the adorable dog from Petticoat Junction. He was a pretty talented dog. Higgins could do a lot of stuff and what I found commendable is I did not catch him looking off camera for directions. very smart dog. the plot is okay. Benji is a stray who makes friends all around town.a very smart dog stays in an abandoned house. when some bad guys take over the house to plan a kidnapping it turns out to be two of the kids he is friends with, He meets a girl dog along the way and sets out to save his two kiddie friends. a nice movie. with a terrific dog.

When I was young I used to always watch Benji, I think it is such a cute show...I don't see it come on much anymore though, I would like to have it back on tv...

Adorable little guy. The first one was passable and good entertainment for little kids. Forget the sequels that tried to milk the Benji cuteness to death.
