As long as you like to juggel knives, pull up a chair and sit down, did I mention, be careful of where you sit?

Such a fun show - delightfully corny. I love watching the creative things that the chefs come up with.

Man this is bad. Everyone on this show is either corny or really uptight. There is NO ONE likeable on this channel. Mario Batali, the comic book chef cook, Cat Cora, plain and boring, Bobby Flay, need I say more, the host...totally lame burnout from Hollywood and the reviewers...all uptight yuppies. I feel for anyone that has to work on this show and is half-normal.

I love this damn show: Its wonderful, I have to watch it everyday, its part of my daily routine. I love watching all the wonderful chefs, and I love the unveiling of the secret ingredient, especially if it is seafood. I love the judges comments, and the tasters, however I dont like to watch the judging, because I dont want anyone to loose. I have never watched the judging. Revolutionary show, a-la cuisine!!!! Good show, would have givin it a 5 star if it didn't have Bobby Flay. He sucks!

A poor representation of the original. Iron Chef America seems far less interesting than its predecessor. For one, the chairman (apparently the nephew of the original show's chairman?) picks the iron chef for the challenger to pit himself/herself against. Second, the theme ingredients are either in such a wide variety or terribly specific so that the dishes that come from it are less spectacular than those of the original. And, third, the cheesiness and seriousness of the orignal Iron Chef is partly why the orignal is so great to watch. If anyone knows where to get the Japanese version of Iron Chef on DVD, let me know!

I was pleasantly surprised by this adaptation. It holds true to the original, but not so much so that it's tacky. It's got it's own flair. The show boasts a cast of excellent choices for Iron Chef, namely Mario Batali and Hiroyuki Sakai from the original series. Very enjoyable.
