Adam West is the Batman, we all know this, but if talking about the actual modern movies, do give Batman Begins a go. I haven't seen the latest one, it is a little to dark-looking for me, but BB gives us the backstory of Bruce Wayne's history, and its wiff Michael Caine too, me old lovely. Lucius Fox, that is one hot name (hope your're recovering well, Mr Freeman). And doesn't Christian Bale look like a young James Brolin ( I know this has been discussed elsewhere, but did spot it on my own). They should do something together.

You cannot put all the Batman movies in the franchise together. The first 2 movies are clearly better than the other 2 or 3(I can't remember because after the third one I stopped watching).

The original series and movie with Adam West was great. I watched it all the time with my dad. But, all the new ones aren't that great.

All of them? I liked the 1967 movie based on the camp series. I liked the most recent one. I liked the first two Tim Burton ones. Didn't like the Jim Carrey as Riddler movie, nor the Arnold as Mr. Freeze. Guess I liked most of them.

Mostly, it appears a mob of Goths took over the production and direction of these movies. Dark, ugly and mean-spirited describes them.

Michael Keaton was the best Batman. Val Kilmer and George Clooney were not fit for the role, especially Kilmer. I liked Batman Returns and Batman Forever.

They seemed to get progessively more fabulous if ya get what I'm saying. The Batsuit with the nipples is a violation of laws of nature.

I dunno about this one; I'll put it at a 3, since Batman Begins looks fairly promising. Besides, what do you expect from a story about a guy running around in a bat costume? UPDATE: Batman Begins WAS actually pretty cool. The rest of them, however, do suck.

I liked the first Batman with Michael Keaton quite a bit. Batman Returns was so-so, but did have Michelle Pfeiffer in a skin tight leather outfit, so upgrade there. Batman Forever was alright. I liked Nicole Kidman as the love interest, but Val Kilmer was just a little too male model-ish for Bruce Wayne. Batman and Robin sucked eggs. I thought George Clooney was a good Batman in a very bad Batman movie. I haven't seen Batman Begins, but it looks pretty good.

Sheesh, is there some law that your not allowed to like cheesy movies?! The Batman movies were meant to be jokes, the people who made them didn't expect you to take them seriously. Movies like these give you a break from all those hard core serious movies, a chance to laugh your guts out and not care about its lame special effects or its cheesy plotline. The batmans are good, funny lax movies, so leave them alone.

I tend to agree here. I would give the first one 2 1/2 stars just because Michael Keaton gave the charachter something unexpected. The others were garbage.

They were more boring then anything.

The first one came out when I was engaged, and I took my fiance, her sister and her sisters two children to the movie- a huge waste of nearly 40 bucks when all the snacks & such were paid for.I'd have walked out if I was alone.Just when you thought the sequel couldn't possibly be any worse, they cast Mr.Mom as Batman....

I thought Batman and Batman Forever were pretty good. Batman Returns was probably the worst of them. In Batman & Robin, George Clooney didn't look too good in a Batman suit. But overall, I enjoyed watching those films. I can't wait until the new Batman comes into theaters next month.
