I loved all 3 Ocean's movies. Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and Matt Damon, you got to be dumb if you wouldn't watch a movie with those great actors in it.

Seemed like their was alot of hype built around this movie,  just cause of the all-star cast.  Didnt care for it.

Yes, the original was quite horrible and I don't think it was even terribly popular. The remake was far better.

Let's not confuse this turkey with the 1960's Rat Pack film. That was good--this stinks! This cast sleepwalks through this flick thinking their star reputations will save it--it doesn't work!

I can see how some might find this entertaining. But I don't like being patronized by studios. Star power alone will not get my approval. Probably would've been much better starring, John C Reily, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, etc etc etc. Of course we're talking about the modern one. I'm not the type to give a sh%t how much fun they had making it. Or perhaps I'm just a cynical, artsy fartsy idiot? Read between the lines, star power doesn't mean good. Was it actually good or did you convince yourself of that?

Since you didn't specify, the five is for the original. Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack did it right. The remake with George Clooney and Brad Pitt would get a three or less.
