The first one was cute in certain scenes,the second one was dismal,and I mean gay dogs in leather? lame..

No not bad, yet charming, amusing and entertaining. Almost every movie I've seen Reese Weatherspoon in I really liked or loved.

The first one wasn't all that bad. It was okay the first time around, but for repeat viewing it's a good background movie, something to have playing when you aren't really paying attention. The second wasn't worth the time to watch it once.

I have both movies and thought they were good. The first one was much better than the second. In the first movie, she was legal savvy and talented as a lawyer. However, she didn't display her smarts in the sequel.

I remember I watched the first one when I was sick and bedridden. My confused fevered state didn't trick me into liking it. And usually I can watch any movie when I'm sick, and I'll like it. Another Hollywood gimic designed to rape us. 'She's a retard lawyer!' THANK YOU SIR, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER! Actually, we DID get another, but I haven't seen that one. I learned my lesson. But it sucks though, I'm sure.
