This was a great show. I find myself constantly thinking I do that! and That's happened to me while watching the show. I think out of all the teen shows throughout the years, this one comes closest to what it's like to be a teenager. Even with the whole first name-last name thing. Most teenagers tend to call people by their first and last name, especially people they don't know that well. And as for IJR, while you're allowed your own opinion, let me just give you mine. Yes, teenagers may have it easy, but when you're a teenager, it doesn't feel that way. And I think that if this show had gone on longer, many teenagers today would have loved to have it even just to escape for a little while and to be assured that they're not alone and that other people's lives suck too. And it's a part of life. You're always gonna look back and see how good you had it, but I don't think anybody can totally appreciate what they have when they have it. I just don't think it's possible. I'm glad that this show is still being syndicated and brought back once every couple of years, because then teenagers today can have a chance to see this amazing show. You come because you think if you don't you're gonna miss something--Jordan Catalano

It wasn't bad television. . .but completely unworthy of legendary status perpetuated by its lemming-like fans.

It was a pretty good show, but may have got caught up in it's own cult status a little bit. It would have been nice if it ran longer than it did to see where the show would have gone.

The angst on this show was like a layer of frosting across your back, but it had such a fantastic ensemble cast you'd excuse the minor cracks in this otherwise bulletproof drama. Claire Danes brought it all, and wasn't afraid to let you into the character. ABC blew it big-time (and never honestly recovered from the obvious fan backlash), and (true to form) proceeded to stumble and bumble with ONCE AND AGAIN. Still pops up on MTV reruns (and is a high-priced mainstay on DVD wish lists). Should have run at least three more seasons.
