I love to listen to him on the overnight weekends on espn radio. However the people that say espn is stupid for not giving him a better time slot should realize he is a very busy guy doing another radio show, also other bits for espn2 and also does play by play work. he is one of the busiest sports guys I have seen and I think his 2 day a week on espn radio is more his choice then theirs.

  Bob Valvano is the best on ESPN radio. He is opinionated without being overbearing. While sports has obviously been at the center of his life, he can relate to people who have real jobs and families that they care about. He keeps things in perspective and can speak to his audience with a sense of grace. ESPN should use him more and better.

Pure class.  Easy on the ears.  Like how he pays attention to details and demands so from his producers and such.  His game show bits are usually kinda funny

A very under rated host and doesn't get the time slot he deserves nationally those idiots at ESPN don't know what that have.

Bob Valvano doesn't really have a good time slot, but whenever I do hear his show some time in the middle of the night, he always does a good job. He covers everything, and keeps it interesting.

Proof you don't have to shout to entertain, inform and make people laugh...just my style!
