For any given individual appointment for braces, I couldn't really give this more than three stars. Even the worst two parts (when they're put on, and when they're taken off) cause a fair amount of pain, but I managed it OK. The reason it gets four stars is because of the duration. I had braces on my top and bottom teeth for two years. Every month I had to go in and have them tightened or something else that would cause some level of discomfort. I also had to deal with the headgear thing. It was somewhat painful and annoying at first, but I eventually got used to that part, but I agree with the previous reviewer in that being able to wear it at night makes it not as bad.

Not too bad,just can't east candy and junk food.. the dreaded headgear is another story,thank goodness you can wear it at night.
