Incredibly, this version far outshines the original. While this is an uplifting song, his voice and the poignant reminder that some things invariably do change your world... made me cry upon first hearing it.

I'm normally of the persuasion that no one should do Beatles covers but this is my big exception. Not only is this a flawless Beatles re-make but its one of my favorite covers of all time. Rufus Wainwright's voice and take on the song is haunting and gorgeous.
