 | CanadaSucks (50) 05/29/2005 | Broke some rules of democracy to save it. . .usually ends in disaster but Lincoln was one of those rare individuals that had some sense of objectivity. Too bad he was cursed with some incompetent generalship or the war might have ended sooner. . .but Lincoln deserves much credit (and some study because he did break some Constitutional law for a 'higher good' - great legal and philosophical study.)
