05/28/2005 | I normally work a 55 hour work week depending on the time of month. As the general manager of a fitness facility the corporation's policy necessitates that I work the last 5 days of every month to closeout all the leads and hit our projected budgets- this sometimes leaves me with few days off. And though the position pays well I can't say I thoroughly enjoy the work. I yearn for a position as tenured professor where I can read and research all day long and teach a couple classes in a much less stressful environment.
