 | abichara (60) 11/10/2006 | Prayer is an essential part of my life. It serves as a means to meditate and re-center myself. I'll say that I'm not the type to carry my spirituality like a chip on my shoulder like many have a habit of doing, but I will say that prayer has a positive effect on me. The key is to never pray for something specific. God is not a Santa Claus to will provide you with your hearts desire. Rather its always best to pray for strength and wisdom to guide yourself with whatever life throws at you on any given day. Being a bit introspective at times gives you a chance to re-charge and put things into perspective. That's what prayer allows me to do.

 | Mr Evangel (5) 07/11/2005 | Yeah I go to church ! To me thats easy. I try to pray but sometimes it's hard to get myself too. But when I do I always feel better and am glad I did. I want a lifestyle of prayer in my life. Because I don't want to know ABOUT God....but I want to KNOW him persoanly. And prayer is how you do that.

 | Randyman (103) 06/18/2005 | I pray everyday. Not always formally, but I pray. I don't go to church as often as I should, and I'm not going to lie. When I don't go, it bothers me.

 | zuchinibut (36) 05/29/2005 | I pray often, but do not go to Church as much as I would like. It probably evens out to a 3, but churchgoing is a 2 and praying is probably a 4.

 | Graymalkin (51) 05/28/2005 | When my sons were little I went every Sunday with them in tow Then I moved so many times that I did not find a church I could feel comfortable attending. Now that I have a small daughter who is four, we go every Sunday because I feel that it is important for my child to grow up believing in God and the values and morals that are taught there, I find it gives me strength throughout my week as well. The one I attend now does a lot of community outreach that I find so necessary in these times and I enjoy the bit of volunteer work as well, I might not be making a big difference, but small vestiges add up. I can definitely see the impact that taking my sons to church has had on their lives, even though there were times during turbulent teenage years I thought I would loose my sanity and we would never overcome another setback, they did make and are now fine young men, not perfect, but indeed fine young men to be proud of.

 | LanceRoxas (40) 05/28/2005 | I pray quite often but unlike when I was a kid I give thanks for all the positive things that have happened in my life most of the time now. I really feel blessed. (which should probably get me to church more often...LOL)
