11/28/2005 | The top level of auto racing has been dominated by men, so it was a refreshing story to see a woman, not to mention young and attractive, come along and compete. Her finish at Indy was impressive, but even more impressive was her consistent performance throughout the whole Indy Car season.

10/21/2005 | Good story, though Janet Guthrie finished in the Top-10 at Indy several years ago. The irony is that no one knows who won the 2005 Indy 500. At least Open Wheel racing finally got some buzz this year (other than when someone in the stands getting killed by flying debris).
Danica was not able to win an Indy race this year, which I think she needs to do before we really should give a hoot. Of course it helps that David Letterman is her sponsor. It also helps that she looks mighty nice with her long black hair and her tight black racing suit.
