Are you talking about Moses Malone? Or, Robert Moses? These are two entirely different entites, scripturally speaking.

Deut 34v10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face...
In Old Testament times they followed the laws of God (as delivered by... moses...) which all pointed forward to Jesus, when Jesus came he completed the Law of Moses and we are now under a different law.
in Matthew 17:13 you can read where Jesus was talking to Moses and Elijah - I doubt that would have happened if he wasn't judged righteous by God.
Hebrews 11 - the chapter of the faithful - devotes 6 verses to him - the last verse in Hebrews 11 tells us that he is saved.
1 Cor 10 v 1-2 tells us that Moses and all who followed him out of Egypt were baptized when they passed through the red sea.
In Revelation 15 they are singing the song of Moses, the servant of God.. I bet he'll be joining in...

At this point in time, no dead is either in Heaven or Hell. The final destination of each will come as consequence of the Judgment. ------ Baptism is not a requirement for salvation. ----- Salvation is a Sovereign decree of God made even before Creation. ---- When God delivered the law to Israel, there were certain provisions for the forgiveness of sins, namely, the sacrifice of a lamb or a dove in the Temple.

Are you ready for a little esoteric theology, my fellow citizens? I'm sure you are, so here goes. Moses was a member of the "righteous dead" but could not go to heaven until Christ died and opened the gates of Heaven. Therefore they resided in the "Bosom of Abraham," a non-heavenly, but blissful state. The Bible mentions the Bosom of Abraham twice. Later theologians called this Limbo but the term Limbo does not appear in the Bible. I'm sure some of the strict Bible-Thumper Fundamentalists would reject the term "limbo." Of course Rapture doesn't appear in the Bible and they accept that. Oh, well!
The Apostles Creed describes Christ's descent into "Hell" in the Catholic and Church of England Version. This means, according to the theologians that Christ went to the Bosom of Abraham or Limbo, as you will, to prepare the righteous dead to go to heaven after the resurrection. More modern translations of the Apostles Creed state "descended to the dead." Same deal. To answer, yes, Moses went to heaven but only after the Death and Resurrection.

God made a way for those who lived and died prior to the age of grace.

I just watched something about this on the History Channel. Theologians say that the original Apostles' Creed states that Jesus desended into Hell before he was raised on the third day. They said that he had to free all the souls who died before the gates of Heaven were open to them ~ in particular, Moses, Abraham and Isaac. I don't know if I believe it was necessarily Hell, more like Purgatory.

I believe this is a matter between Moses and God, just as it is for all who believe in our present time, and those in the past who walked with God. No sense wasting energy guessing at the mind of God while He's got work for me to do. :)

Moses lived under the old testament law and was judged under that law just as the thief on the cross lived under old testament law. The new testament law did not start until Jesus' death. Until he died Jesus had the power to save and that is how the thief was saved. As long as one obeyed God's commandments they will be saved. As for baptism this is one of God's new testament commandments and must be kept just like any other commandment to be saved. you must have faith to be saved, you must confess jesus before men to be saved, you must repent of your sins to be saved and yes you must be baptised to be saved and you must love one another to be saved you cannot leave out any of the commandments in the new testament to preach anything else is to condemn yourself and those that you teach.

I kind of think maybe he was baptized in a way when he went into the sea and by Gods hand he parted it.I think maybe they all were.and Chirp is right. The word Jew was switched over somewhere later in the bible. It was only Hebrew children up to I think the book of Ester.

Moses faught an uphill battle to spread the word of God. He lived to serve. He was a true follower and I am sure his place in heaven is safe.

The thief on the cross was never baptized either, but, Jesus said to him, " This day, you shall be with me in paradise". He knew right then and there this man believed on Him. There was no time to take him off the cross and dunk him in a pool, yet, he was saved.

For a start, baptism doesn't get you saved. But Moses would have been saved because in the OT, salvation was a lot different. Although basic salvation was found by having faith in God (because all righteous people lived by faith, even under the Law of Moses), you still needed to maintain that salvation by observing the law. Since Moses observed the law, he was saved. But since Moses died and went to heaven, since all men were to be given to Jesus, Moses would have been given to Jesus as His bride, so therefore, now Moses is saved just like we are, through Jesus.
