Attention all women! The road is a place to drive. Not a place to talk about what you bought at the mall!

this can annoy me at times. I swear there are those out there who are obsessed with being on the phone at all times. it can annoy me if i am out shopping and on the road I pass a ton of people talking on their cell phone. get to the store and there they are again yakking the whole time they shop. I hope I am never that attached to any object. get over yourselves people.

some people take it to far but it only bothers me if i am put on hold over and over and for long periods of time that it can be quite annoying. its inconsideration for my time.

Really and truly very irritating. I work with a guy who, on his lunch break, calls his girlfriend on his cell phone, and he'll sit there and discuss with her what's on the t.v., how lousy his shift is going, and numerous other subjects for his entire break, while he's eating. It's irritating enough that I've actually looked into buying a cell phone jammer, but they are to expensive.

Well, I can't really criticize those who do this- mainly because I do it to. I have, however, cut down on how often I use my cell phone, particularly in the car. People don't often realize how truly dangerous it is, regardless if you're using a hands free device or not. The concentration of the driver is distracted by the ongoing conversation and because of that I have often put people in a situation similar to the one Castlebee experinced. Very dangerous...

I experienced one of these geniuses again today - no big surprise since it now seems to be a daily occurrence. Though I find these conjoined freaks irritating as they stroll around stores practically yelling (either due to weak connections or some weird idea they have about distance) they arent as difficult to bear as those homicidal/suicidal types who attempt to manipulate a vehicle at the same time. This particular tadpole from the low end of the gene pool was, of course, doing just that. The really brilliant part though was that in one quick jerky move he was suddenly heading straight for my car as I entered a turn lane to make a left. And, we are talking a very high traffic street during morning rush hour. Apparently, as he blabbed on and on he was also planning to simultaneously make a left on the other side of the street but since he wasn't quite lined up he decided to temporarily turn the center of the road into a 5th lane for an unspecified length of time until he eventually arrived at his destination. Luckily, I managed to swerve in time - a fact that seemed to go completely unnoticed by him. Yes, this one continues to be a problem and when its not scaring the heck out of me it truly does manage to get my goat.

I have a friend, a photographer, who keeps a camera next to her on the front seat of her car. When she finds somoene on a cell especially annoying she makes the motions of taking pictures of them and their license plate. She swears that almost half of them immediately hang up. I have to admit that people who use cell phones while driving really do get to me.
