The worshipping of Lex Luthor, a comic book character, is worse than idolatrous. In no way are they Christians.

I'm sorry, I drifted off. What was the question?

If they have accepted Christ as their Savior then yes they are.

Those who accept, follow and obey Jesus Christ are Christians, regardless of the denomination.

A few of them are. (don't give any guff here, I was confirmed in a Lutheran church)
UPDATE: Alrighty, time for class. See, I've come to see Lutherans are a sort of Catholic light in some ways. All the traditional theology about the nature of Christ, Mary, ect. is accepted, but the Saints are not elevated in any way and Lutherans only accept two sacrements instead of the seven recognized by the Catholics. Just Baptism and Communion for the Lutherans, kids. The level of traditional elements used varies from church to church and ranges from a traditional service that is awful stuffy to a contempory music driven service, so variation seems common. All that variation of course means that Lutherans can't agree on squat, heehee...

As LadyJesusFan says, if they believe in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, yes. Truthfully, I think the only thing I know about the Lutheran faith is that they don't celebrate Mary as the Virgin Mother of Jesus ~ but I could be wrong on that one.

If they accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior, yes, they are most definitely a Christian.

"Are different kinds of marshmellows marshmellows?"
Broodinghen 11/07/2006
Sure. I even perceived them as so strongly Christian that they are so preoccupied with Christ and the Holy Spirit that they sometimes forget about God the Father.

I believe I am a Christian, I was baptized Lutheran. However, the tithing part is where I have had trouble with pastors before. They wanted me to put it in an envelope so they could document how much I was giving. I don't believe in the envelope; it's for people who write it in their taxes and I feel that is wrong too. Other things within the church I feel is right and good, but the tithing was a major issue with me. Not to mention, I feel tithing is not only money, but also time, and being as I helped in vbs, sunday school, and was a part of several clubs, that was not enough for one church that I went to. I recieved a letter telling me I was ungrateful for the church, as shown in my contributions. They gave me a paper with the contributions of the week, a big 0 in the middle of it, with the letter.

Yes they certainly are. As far as I know, they aren't as legalistic as other denominations and don't believe that water baptism is a commandment or don't push tithing. I grew up with Lutherans and they were one of the most sincere Christians I've come across.
