Not all church houses are good ones in the first place. Second, The Church is not a building with stained glass windows where you go to make yourself feel better about how you spend your time the rest of the week. God said, we are to worship in Spirit and in truth. He also said that where two or more are gathered in His name, there He is in the midst of them. You can fellowship anywhere with anyone. The true church of God is the many membered body of believers all over the world.

Yes they are certainly Christian! The Church of God started as a reform movement by Richard G Spurling SR and his son Richard G Spurling JR. SR died 2 years after starting what was then called the Christian Union, who was disappointed with the post Civil war cheap grace and no transformation of life that was taking blace at the time in the Methodist and Baptist churches in the Apalaichan Mountains and the foothills of the same area. In 1896 there was a gathering at Shear School house in North Carolina and the Holy Spirit was poured out on the 120 that gathered there on that occassion. This was a prelude to the Azusa Street Revivals that occurred between 1906-1909. The doctrine of the Church of God includes belief in Trinity, salvation by grace through faith, sanctification, holiness of life, speaking in tongues as the initial evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit that empowers and equips the believer for ministry or vocation. They have been too strict at times in their views of holiness were clothes line oriented, but nevertheless the Church of God has around 4 million members world wide at the current time. It is headquartered in Cleveland, Tennessee and they have a web sight that is easily accessible on the internet.

Not at all. These types of members just want to sell their stuff and they want your money.
