what chance do you have if a supervisor/boss shows favoritism? you would have to work twice as hard and still get no where.

Being a student I encounter this often. While I don't care if a teacher begins to like certain students more than others, I think they have a responsibilty to try to remain fair. It upsets me when certain students are treated differently.

This absolutely makes me want to implode. I've only had one supervisor who could really be accused of doing this on a grand scale which he did and with a total lack of regard for the other employees. By doing this and also hiring his own relatives, he has proven that he lacks character, professionalism and is, indeed, a big FAT liar. If he told me that water was wet and grass was green I'd begin to doubt it. I once worked for a guy who was the polar opposite and would have worked overtime without pay out of pure loyalty. I wouldnt give this guy all the dead green flies he could eat.
