It is amazing to me that people who call themselves "Christian", submit the types of commentary that is found here. The brother who has so many problems with the humanity of my dear Pastor, needs to take a look in the mirror. Jesus came to teach us to focus on God, but so many Christians spend most of their time focused on man. Many of the words spoken by Pastor Bernards detractors are tainted with their own agendas and not God's. If you feel so strongly about these issues, why not do what we have all been called to do, pray for the man. Pastor Bernard is NOT God, nor does he pretend to be. Let us begin to focus our energies on building up our spiritual leaders, not tearring them down with personal opinions, rooted in personal issues we have with them. This is exactly what the enemy wants us to do. Remember, the Bible says in Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Jesus had the same issues with his followers, not everyone understood what he stood for and not everyone agreed with who he associated himself with. Let's stop acting like the world and start living out the credo of our faith. God bless.

ar bernard is an awesome teacher. after reading some of these reviews i understand that negative people make negative comments.... and live negative lives.... pastor bernard is a wise man ... in 2009 CEO is the tittle you have when there is fruit ... everything cost you something... to protect oneself from these criminal minded folk who will attack the man of GOD, his wife and children ... how low. if you are not at home here find another home and the truth will set you free

Pastor Bernard is an amazing man of God. I am so proud to be a part of CCC and to benefit from his teachings. He has worked very hard (along with Elder Karen) to get where he is today. The bible calls for us to take care of our leaders. To have 500 members in your church is a blessing from God. To have 20,000 members is even more of a blessing. Must we always find something wrong with taking care of our leaders. We could never pay for what we get, just on a Sunday morning. I could see if he was like some of the preachers who buy 10 cars and 5 houses. He even spoke on the topic one Sunday. Come on people, give credit where it is due and lets stop always trying to find fault.

I came under this ministry 8 years ago. Since the time I stepped under the leadership of my Pastor, AR Bernard, my life has been transformed.
I was a wreck when I came to NY. God led me here for a reason. I have turn my life around, through the teaching of this ministry and have seen what the power of God can do, when you submit to him.
If you focus on man, then you will reap what man sows. If you focus on God, then you will truly see what God has for you.
It's your choice.

I am trying to keep an open mind here and read your opinions in the context with which they were written.... after all, I must admit that they are thought provoking..... However, your tone and use of explicit lends very little to the credibility of your posts. Indeed, you have produced informed and knowledgeable opinions which you are trying to educate to people like me…. I would love to believe that your words are unbiased... but, alas!... it is plain to see! In your future post(s), please remember that it is not always about WHAT you say as much as HOW you say it. My concerns regarding A.R. Bernard have to do with the people he seems to endorse. He has interviewed people who are not even pro-life, have no personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, and seem to be living examples of a greedy and materialistic lifestyle. I question the authenticity of his own faith in Jesus as Savior when he can apparently embrace anyone and everyone who speaks in a vague way about "faith." Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except by me." And He said that anyone who tries to come another way is a thief and a robber. I don't know a lot about A.R. Bernard, but what I've seen makes me very hesitant and skeptical.

Speaks with passion about the Gospel and teachings of Jesus Christ. A.R. Bernard is a living example of bringing love and service into the world. He is also a realist in terms of recognizing that we aren't all perfect, but can be forgiven because of God's own self sacrifice for us. He's a great communicator and absolutely worth hearing.

Ive read a number of comments, which boarder on rhetoric. He should disclose his financials? He speaks to sophisticate for young Christians? He referred to himself as CEO? Come on get off your own trip! Sounds like a bunch of Pharisees that could not get Jesus to do what they thought he should be doing, teaching, saying, praying, dressing, and list goes on! And yes Im a member, and no Im not part of his staff nor care to be. In fact, Ive never meet him. Im not there because I like him, Im there because he speaks the truth, and spoken truth is something we all have trouble digesting in some form or another.

Under the guise of Christian teaching, "Dr." Bernard teaches a new age "Gospel" which is long on self help, and Short on the fundamentals. What is put forth as a theocracy, is actually a kingdom that Bernard rules with an iron fist. All that glitters is not gold. I was once dedicated to the ministry of Dr. Bernard but if one looks very closely and uses their mind in addition to their heart you will see that while he CAN teach, he is short on integrity and compassion when it doesn't benefit him in some way. And yes I was once a member for over 10 years. The reviewer Ebert clearly knows the man.

Maybe a Al Sharpton want to be or a social worker but he is not a Evangelist The New York papers reported today that Reverend A. R. Bernard, founder of the Christian Cultural Center, threw his support behind Mayor Bloomberg's reelection. Rev. Bernard took a chance and endorsed the CEO turned politician in 2001 and has chosen to stick with the mayor, even after courtship from the Democratic candidates.

A.R. Bernard understands how to make the word of God practical. His style of teaching allows you to take the message and apply it to your daily life. He has changed my views on the world and helped to see things from God's perspective, not the world's. He is a blessing to the body of Christ.

Rev. A. R. Bernard is a brillant visionary. He is a man of standards, not of mediocracy. God has given him the ability to interpret the bible in a way that actually brings his book of life to life to those who are willing to receive it.

Dr. A.R. Bernard is one of the best Pastors. I've ever had the oppurtunity to be enlighten by. He breaks the Bible down in a away, that You can use in Your everyday life. Pastor Bernard also makes You want more out off life.To set audacious goals,as well as find out what audacious purpose GOD has in store for You. I pray that God continues to keep him protected and sheltered in his care. I know though Him I will continue tobe Blessed and highly favored. for I know that: JESUS IS LORD.
