In some cases, if one can look deep into the comic, it could be educational. Pastis was going to be a lawyer, but I guess he can live well with this. Sometimes he is quite funny when he pokes fun at himself- Rat does the best at it.

This is the best comic strip I've ever read. RAT is the star of the show and depicts human beings at their worst.

Certainly one of the consistantly funny comics in the funnies. If Pastis could draw he'd be a multi-millionaire

Pearls is a great comic in waiting. It centers around the activities of a rat (called Rat) and his friend the pig. Rat is self centred, Pig is gullible. They also have several friends, a zebra who is tormented by a couple of inept crocodiles, and a goat. The strip generally revolved around Rat doing vicious things to Pig. It is very funny but as you can probably read really hard to describe.
