Yes.Freemasonry is based on the symbolism of the building of the Temple.Many Christians are Freemasons.However,you do not have to be "Christian" to be a Freemason.You DO have to believe in a "Higher Power",though.

The only Masons I've ever met were some of those Shriners who drive the little mini-bikes in the local parade while wearing a fez. 

Based on that, I thought the interaction was beween Freemasonry and motorcycle mechanics.

I'll have to agree and disagree with JMJ. My Dad has been a Mason for over 50 years and the vast majority of Masons and potential Masons are good people. The average Mason, as the men above, have no clue about Maonry because they don't study it, and most, even if they did, would have no idea what they were reading. Pike in Morals and Dogma says that Masonry is a search after light and that search leads directly back to the Cabala. Your average person has NO idea what the Cabala, Qabala, etc. even is. It is ancient Jewish mysticism upon which all modern day Witchcraft and the New Age religions are based upon. Please don't misunderstand and think that I am saying that Jews practice Witchcraft- NO, but the Cabala is the basis for that. I understand most of Morals and Dogma due to having been involved in a Ministry that Ministered to Satanists, Witches,new Agers, etc, and have aquired quite a bit of knowledge in that area and was amazed when I found my Dad's book and started reading it. My Dad and I would go round and round about Masonry and I decided that if I was going to make any headway with him I would have to have evidence. To make a long story short, I made a visit to DC and visited the Supreme Mother temple of the Scottish Rite. One must be a Master Mason to join the Scottish Rite. As a result of that visit and what I learned there, my Dad is no longer associated with the Rite but is still involved with the Blue Lodge. I haven't convinced him yet that the Blue lodge has the same problems. There are a lot of conspiracy theories connected to the Lodge, and while some of them may be true, most of them aren't. It is not a Christian organization and Jesus is not welcome there, they do pervert the Christian Scripture and are guilty of leading multitudes to Hell with their "working their way to Heaven" mentality instead of teaching Salvation through the sacrificed blood of Jesus on the Cross. Occultism abounds in Masonry while trying to look like a Christian organization. Christianity and Masonry are like oil and water. As a matter of fact, Mormonism is a lot closer to Masonry. Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism, was a Mason and in the Mormon Temple ceremony,you will find Masonic rites, rituals, aprons, hand signals, etc, that Smith incorporated into it. As a result of sharing the secrets with outsiders (other Mormons in the Temple ceremony) which is punishable by death by mutilation as stated in the oath that Masons take when they join, the Masons stormed the jail where Smith was being held for some unrelated charge and killed him. No, masonry is not a good organization.

Quite the contrary,rather an enmity.The masons are a tight net organisation that seek total abolition of religious beliefs namely that of the'mono-theistic religions(belief of one God)and poly-theistic religions(belief of plural gods)but to a lesser extent.They promote humanism and freedom that is to say no God.They have been plotting for centuries for the submission of the human race into their absolute power?It has been said they are responsible for the two great wars and revolutions in europe that left the continent knee deep in blood?If you know your history christendom lost her states one by one as a result forcible overthrownment(christian countries i.e France,Spain,etc..)and over the years the influence of christianity is so scorned that if publicly professed today we are outcasted .More and more of our young are bred,taught,educated into the system they have carefully devised,our children do not know what love is any more,what charity is,what being a mother or father is,or having any consideration or concern for others but themselves,they do not want to learn about the greater part of life,alas want to learn how to gain advantage at any cost!Alot of people would look down on Mexico for beingundevelopedbut at least there you can clearly see that children are children,parents are parents;old family(christian)principles and values still exist there!They are one of the countries that have been preserved from ultimate de-chritianization of the masons...thank God!because they have chiseled away at the mould of traditions and christian civilization there is a reversal in roles,also confusion and unrest in terms of direction and purpose(generations are starved of God).Women are now heads of the family,men are more feminine,children have more rights to what they want,parents are told discipline is barbaric,master pieces have been replaced with paint thrown on canvas,melody is slowly fading from music and only a beat is left with someone cursing and degrading women this is the most popular,women find more and inventive ways to make themselves look uglier with todays fashion,the spelling and hand-writing of our youth is frighteningstupidis nowstoopid,the english language is now sounding more and more like infant graduates;goo-goo-gah-gah,money is the new god and sex is general superior these are just some of the symptoms that has blanketed what once was christian civilization.This is just the begining of their(freemasons)Godless utopia,to be continued....
