Typical Ron-Howard-Hollywood fare. . .you know when your heartstrings are being pulled. . .you know how it ends. . .but it's such a great story. . .and Crowe (when he's not being an abusive ass) is a good actor. . .I went into this movie thinking it would be pure Disney hokum and yet (and yet) I really enjoyed it. . .

Worth seeing, and some of the fight scenes are well done. Crowe is generally good, although the rest of the cast just doesn't measure up.

This is a very well written movie (screenplay). If you can get past the fact that Crowe and Howard are jerks, you might like it more but then again it is hard thing to do.

Enough saccharine to kill a cage full of lab rats. Please, please let Ron Howard die so he can't poison any more movies.
