Whenever you see footage of the final assault on Berlin, you always see this weapon in action. It was merely a series of pipes that sent hordes of rockets at the enemy. The troops called it Stalin's Organ.

A weapon that could launch a whole lot of hell on one place. Not accurate, but it didn't have to be. Its biggest drawback was not its lack of 'handheldness' (whoever said that truly doesn't understand the role of this weapon), but the time it took to reload it after firing. It was not intended to be an individual rocket grenade, it was ROCKET ARTILLERY!!!! It used 82mm (BM8) and 132mm (BM13)rockets. Things like bazookas, panzershreks, panzerfausts, and PIATs have nothing on things like the Nebelwerfer, the Sherman Tulip, and the Katyusha. It was a MLRS, nothing like a shoudler launched weapon.

a.k.a stalins organ this rocket launcher was not bad. The big drawback is that it is not handheld. it's a truck with a bunch of pipes in the back with rockets. Didn't they have handheld Rocket launchers?
