The last time I remember seeing her on TV was Curb Your Enthusiasm and she was with her dear husband, Mel Brooks, and looked beautiful. Her acting range was so wide. She played a nun in Agnes of God and a seductress in The Graduate with many more films and stage plays in between. Loved her sense of humor, too.

Absolutely one of the best and she will very much be missed. Loved her in the Garbo movie as well as all the others she did. In her personal life, she appeared to have great wit and was very well liked by her peers.

A classic actress that played such a wide range of roles and types. As great as she was, because she was such a chameleon in the way she approached and was absorbed into her characters, I feel she was underrated. I think that time and history will be kind to her and she will be remembered as a great Actress. She will forever be Mrs. Robinson.

Ms. Bancroft was such a talented, beautiful actress and I will miss her. It is sad to hear of her death and we need to pray for her dear husband, Mel Brooks. Anne was fabulous in Miracle Worker and won her Academy Award for her portrayal of Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate. She performed in so many movies, plays and TV programs and was always first class. If you saw The Slender Thread, Fatso and so many other films that she did, you will agree that she was awesome!

A sad farewell to a wonderful actress. Star of stage and screen she proved she had an amazing range and talent in her long and distinguished career.
