 | ClassicTVFan47 (36) 06/09/2005 | My first year of college was very memorable. I attended a small community college, but the experience was still rewarding and quite enjoyable. In my psychology class, my teacher said that he never knew anyone that had wanted to be a weatherman--and just like in elementary, middle, and high school, I was called upon to forecast once more! In this case, it was almost-daily weather reports in the beginning of class! ^_^ I got to flex my creative muscles in my English class, in which I was able to present all of my essays to the class (my favorites, naturally, were the creative stories, although I loved hiding Star Trek/Nintendo/other references in my essays too). I was also able to give a presentation in my journalism class, which I got an A++ on and used my broadcast voice in full force! ^_^ I made several friends there, and was gratified to recieve a great deal of respect from a student whom was twice my age. My mother, who worked there at the time (I didn't have any classes of my mother's, of course) and my cousin (also didn't have any of her classes) said that they recieved several compliments about me. Although the food court didn't contain the transcendent chicken of Chick-Fil-A like my present university has, it was nice and bright. The grounds were also well kempt, and I enjoyed going for a walk in between classes.
