Just stayed here last night -- rooms are awesome, hotel decor is awesome, and the staff was great. The breakfast at the Grand Cafe was pretty awesome.

This hotel is gorgeous. I saw my brother's room when he stayed here, and it was great. The lobby is amazing. The Grand Cafe is a great place to grab a drink before dinner. It is truly a beautiful hotel, and if I ever go back to SF I will splurge for this place.

Monaco actually has a few locations, others being in DC, Chicago, and Seattle. I like the SF one the best and the Grand Cafe is a great restaurant. The location is pretty convenient - right next to the theatre, shopping, and union square. The rooms are classy, there's a cool fireplace in the lobby, the ceiling's painted like a sky, and the staircase is elegant for lack of a better word.
