Lovely stuff...big flavor profile. Downside is I can't afford to drink it all the time and it is barrel-proof (about 127 proof) so it needs to be cut with something to be comfortably swallowed. Pour it on ice with a splash of good water and wow. Hard to believe this is a Jim Beam product.

Very smooth and terrific bourbon especially for the price.....I thought it is was very comparable to Blanton's for about half the price....it's smooth and like Blanton's a little bit nondistinctive in taste. Goes down easy but has no lasting flavor after passing over the pallett....also a lot like Blanton's.

Awesome bourbon with an excellent aroma and flavor. The high alcohol content(~58%) takes a away from the flavor a little, thus the 4 stars instead of 5. I don't drink bourbon with rocks or water but if this was cut VERY marginally(somewhere around 52-54%) I would say it would be the best ever created. As it stands it is awesome but very intense! Enjoy slowly, definitely a sipping bourbon.

It is my regular. Good thing it is strong so you do not need much and for it's price this a real bargain. Treat it like cognac, no water, no "rocks" just do not sip too much.

Booker Noe was the Ambassador of Bourbon, the fifth or sixth? generation to head Jim Beam Brands, and this is the batch he put his own name to. Personally, I find it too strong--it's over 100 proof--and that can interfere with the depth of flavor it does have. I prefer Jim Beam Black and Knob Creek when drinking bourbons, but this is definitely something special. If you're trying Booker's for the first time, have it served to you on the rocks. It's much too fine, not to mention costly, to drink with a mixer. Let the ice melt until it's at a dilution you can tolerate, and at that point you'll really taste the genius of the late Booker Noe. Don't let the bartender add a garnish like a twist. You're trying to see what an expert distiller--and legendary raconteur and just plain hell of a guy--could do with a humble ear of corn and a Kentucky creek.

This is simply put the best example of bourbon whiskey I have ever tasted. Try it straight up.

One of the top 5 of the many I've tried.

Best bourbon I've drunk. If I were rich, it would be my regular.

Most publications agree this is a top pick. Great value at $50. My personal favorite bourbon.
