This chaw is awesome! its a great price and it blows skoal outta the water for flavor plus the natural is the closest i've ever tasted to cope, the only bad thing i've found is the can doesn't hold up all that good, im the kinda guy who just throws it in the back so when head out to work to the shop the can smashes around the seal and the lid dont close to good, but other than that for a buck fifty it's great.

i know everybody has their preferences in chewin tabbacer, but with the prices these days i stick with husky straight, or any brand of straight for that matter, i just like the sweet taste of straight and i dont really care what brand, but i just got used to that husky huggin my lip in huntin season, and workin, i give it five stars , it may not pack the best, but its chew and i aint complainin!

Especially if you add a few drops of whiskey to it, gets real good then. straight long cut is way to go. last time i had Copenhagen i was not impressed, was very dry and messy. Husky is strong enough to give a good buzz, but if you gotta you can drink some water and gulp down some spit. cheap, fairly strong, and effective for a nic-fix!

i've got a dip of husky straight in right now. it's better than i was expecting but not "great" by any means. it mostly just has a mellow wintergreen flavor to it and is very strong (nicotine-wise). the "straight" flavor seems to differ greatly from brand to brand but if you want a good nicotine kick without the chemically taste, this is the stuff. also, at only a couple bucks a can, it's great on a budget.

I started chewing Copenhagen in 1982 and have probably chewed close to 10,000 cans in my life. I can't vouch for the flavored kids stuff (it's all crap to me), but Husky Fine Cut Natural is the closest you're going to get to Cope, and at $1-$3 a can, I can't argue with it. It's all I dip now.

I've been getting mint for 99 cents a can at a local cheap tobacco. i've never had mint as good as this, so full of favor. Also FC natural for 99 cents and let me just say this it taste very close to cope in a husky can its unbelievable. well worth it just as long as you dont get a dry can because i've had some of those and its a waste.

Hell, I was just in for a rude awakining! I chewed copenhaged for many years until by little brother got me stuck on Skoal straight (which was kind of a turmoil for me because as a die hard rodeo cowboy, copenhagen is the snuff of choice) At a time when I was in a situation that didn't allow me access to very much chew, Kodiak was all that was available and I soon got hooked on it. I am a very "branded individual" (Ford Trucks, Kodiak, Coke not pepsi, etc.. ) Its always dificult for me to change from a product I stand behind. Recently, I found myself a few days out from payday and bought some Grizzly which is my backup to Kodiak, but Husky was on sale for 99 cents. For 99 cents and after reading the label that says its made by U.S. Smokeless, I decided to try a can. Now I am faced with the delima of not ever buying Kodiak again. I'm not sure I can tell much difference. And at full price of $1.29 it's a hell of alot cheaper that Kodiak at over $6. It sounds stupid but I'm struggling with the idea of buying Husky and trying to get over the fact that the can doesn't say Kodiak. Financially, theres no debate. Qualily wise I dont think there is one either.

Husky mint tastes damn close to skoal mint the only diff i can really tell is that the cut is a little finner with husky, but for 2 buck a tin i think i will live with it.  if you have the money to buy skoal etc go for it but i think it would be stupid to pay way more for a chew that tastes identical for less than half the price.

I have tried Cope & Skoal, my buddy got me to buy a can of cope & skoal and i am like 6 bucks a can, not worth it, husky  is 2.50 a can, husky has  better taste, i have only had the mint, wintergreen, and stright. i felt that the mint was better than skoal mint. worth the pice

In search of a new chew that costs less than skoal at $7 dollars a tin, I discovered a chew named Husky.  It was very comparable to Skoal which I have been chewing for five years and after further investigation I found it was made by US Smokeless tobacco, ironically the same company that makes Skoal, Rooster etc...  Husky has great flavor, excellent texture and is not to rough on the lip.  Its cut great and stays nice and packed in your mouth.  At $8 dollars a log you can't beat that price for the quality of chew that Husky delivers.  I would love to see Husky come out with a few new flavors apple, berry, cherry, etc...

I stumbled upon Husky mint when Skoal's prices started to get out of hand. I was surprised at how similar it was to Skoal and thankful for the price and taste. Then I look at the side of the can and see "US Tobacco". Well sh*t on me, it's just Skoal in another can. Needless to say, when I can buy a log of Husky for 2 bucks more than a can of Skoal, I'm sold. I highly recommend Husky if you like anything from Skoal/Copenhagen.

Husky FC Natural tastes identical to Cope Snuff. I could not believe it, but it's true. Not quite as strong as Cope, and the cut is more like a mid-cut, but at $1.73 a can, I'm switching.

I got a can of LC Mint today and I had never had Husky before but i got the can for free so i figured what the hell ill try it. I was actually suprised at how good it was and it packed really well also. My friend and I think it tastes pretty close to Skoal. Very good chew for the price.

Great! 30 year user of Copenhagen, and couldn't stand the cheap crap till Husky came out. Fine cut regular is certainly $4.00 a can close to Cope in flavor. I can buy a 5 can log for the same money as 1 can of Copenhagen. It very well may be the machine sweepings canned up, but for $120.00 a month savings on snuff, I think I will stay with it. I can't speak to the mint or "special" flavored snuff. That is usually reserved for the temporary chewers anyway.
