 | CastleBee (81) 07/28/2005 | No doubt one of his problems was the connection between his brain and his mouth - he may not have always meant it the way it was said, but the fact that he blundered on and on regardless is what really concerned me. But, hey, his 15 minutes is long over, his press clippings shredded into biodegradable environmentally friendly cat litter, used and tossed out with the trash. I see no reason to stir up that old stench.

 | Mr.Political (18) 07/27/2005 | Why am I not surprised that CanadaSucks would compare John Kerry to Jesus Christ? The trouble concerning John Kerry's voting record was that it didn't show the changing of one's mind that would occur with the entrance of new evidence; rather, it showed a lack of conviction and will to stand for something. Are liberals sincerly trying to say that John Kerry changed his position so frequently because of new evidence? If that was the case, I would certainly expect at least a couple of other senators to be challenged by it. Or is that evidence really just another name for poll results? Yes, the quote is stupid. But not nearly as stupid as voting for authorization of a war and then voting against funding it.

 | CanadaSucks (45) 07/27/2005 | Ah, yes. . .remember kids, beware of the FLIP-FLOPPER! This person actually dares to change his or her mind in the face of evidence. Isaac Newton? He actually looked at mathematics and decided to CHANGE HIS MIND because the math wouldn't work for his needs thus he invented CALCULUS! I mean, what was he thinking! He must be a flip-flopper! Don't forget Christ, I mean really- born a Jew and then decides to break all the laws of the ancient world? Forgive and help the poor? BAH! What kind of a flip-flopper are we talking about here? What about all those isolationists who wanted to stay out of WW II in Europe and Asia and then CHANGED THEIR MINDS after Pearl Harbor!? I mean, how can you trust such flip-floppers? Remember kids, never, ever, change your mind, philosophy, or attitude in the face of evidence. It a sure sign of weakness of character!
